The theme for our April box was Boundaries or Burn Out! If you tend to be a people-pleaser (recovering people-pleaser, here!), setting boundaries can feel uncomfortable or like you're not a nice person but it's an essential form of self-care if you want to prevent burnout and live your best life, including your 9-5 life! Our April box was filled with goodies to help our subscribers prioritize their well-being and set healthy boundaries:
Personal development is the "main course" of our subscription and every month, we include an inspirational book centered around the month's topic. This month's book is New York Times Bestseller, "SET BOUNDARIES, FIND PEACE: A Guide to Reclaiming Yourself" by therapist, Nedra Glover Tawaab. Together in our private subscriber-only Facebook group, we'll be going through the book throughout the month and learning how to successfully express our needs, say "no," be assertive without offending others and establish healthy boundaries in all aspects of life!
Every month, we also include a self-care product to remind you to prioritize your well-being and this month, we included THE WORK WELLNESS DECK by Landra Bickley Eliopoulos! The deck includes 60 simple practices you can do while AT work to de-stress and recharge. The cards are divided into three categories: 1) REFRESH to help you decompress and take a mental break, 2) FLOW to help you prioritize physical movement during your work day and 3) CONNECT to help you develop your professional network by focusing on meaningful work relationships. You can draw a card weekly and set it as your intention for the week, draw one daily for a mindfulness break or use it as an icebreaker at a team meeting!
The office product for this month's box is the YOU GOT THIS STICKY REMINDER CUBE by Taylor Elliott Designs. How fun is this colorful cube of 300 sticky notes?! Let the motivational words remind you to take a deep breath and tell yourself, "YOU GOT THIS!" as you practice strengthening your "boundary setting" muscle this month!
This month's motivational lifestyle product is the SHE BELIEVED SHE COULD SO SHE DID MOTIVATIONAL CUFF BRACELET by Anavia. This is one of my all-time favorite sayings because it's true-- mindset is everything. We included the chic motivational bracelet to remind you that whatever you desire (including greater balance), believe you can do what it takes to achieve it! The gold colored bracelet is made of stainless steel and adjustable to fit your wrist!
Lastly, we included two TEA DROPS by Tea Drops ($4.00) to encourage you to take a mindful tea break during work-- no tea bag required! Just drop the adorably shaped tea drop into your cup, pour hot water, stir and enjoy! Tea drops are ground leaf teas made with organic, fair-trade ingredients and lightly sweetened with about 1 teaspoon of organic raw sugar.
